"He believed in his God"

"Firm belief or trust in God walks hand in hand with understanding...and augments it."

Some students of Christian Science may wonder why they have not progressed more satisfactorily in demonstrating their understanding of God. In many instances the answer is really to believe in God. Jesus' words to the man whose son he healed of epilepsy can be helpfully applied by humanity today (Mark 9:23), "If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth."
