What's Growing in Your Garden?
[Of Special Interest to Children]
Alice and her little brother Alan are learning in the Christian Science Sunday School that animals, birds, and plants are in reality ideas of God and are to be loved.
One day the wonderful lesson of gardening with love helped them to remove an ugly error that tried to get into their home. The children were playing together. Suddenly sounds of quarreling came from their room. Mother went in and spoke to them. Then she drew their attention to the garden across the street and asked them to tell her what they liked about it.
"It's beautiful—the prettiest in the block," Alice said.
