I was introduced to Christian Science...
I was introduced to Christian Science in the year 1939 whilst living in the Far East, and although I did not take up its study, the truths I heard did appeal to me. Later, when I was interned in a civilian camp during the Second World War, I held on to these truths and derived much comfort from them.
On my release I was deeply impressed by a young niece's healing of a severe tropical disease; this was accomplished solely through the application of the teachings of Science, and I took up its study seriously on my arrival in England.
I should like to relate a healing which I experienced four years ago. It has been a considerable source of inspiration and has resulted in great progress in my understanding of Science.
