RADIO PROGRAM No. 384 - Prayer Is Equal to Every Emergency

SPEAKER: Centuries ago, there was an emergency at sea. A little ship was in the midst of a tempest, and Christ Jesus was aboard that ship with his disciples. The Bible tells us that he asked, "Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?" Then, through his understanding of God's presence and power, Jesus rebuked the winds, and the sea became calm.

The Bible is lull of examples showing that prayer is practical in time of trouble. Centuries have passed, but the saving and protecting power of God is still the same. It's still here for all who turn to the Almighty with unreserved trust and understanding. The experience of our guest, Mrs. Lorraine Hess, of Cincinnati, Ohio, bears this out.

First of all. Mrs. Hess, let's find out a little about you. I understand you teach school.
