In the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, we are told (p. 206), "In the scientific relation of God to man, we find that whatever blesses one blesses all, as Jesus showed with the loaves and the fishes,—Spirit, not matter, being the source of supply."

The spiritual truths which have healed us in the past are never forgotten and are the crumbs to be gathered up, available to bless others.

When I was very new in Christian Science, my son was in bed with a severe cold. Although I had already demonstrated the power of Truth, on this occasion I was very fearful and was tempted to turn to material remedies. However, I was guided to open the Bible at the fifth chapter of Galatians. I read only the first verse, "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage."
