In sincere gratitude for the teachings of Christian Science and in the hope that my experiences may help someone else, I submit this testimony.

Whilst working as a medical nurse I sustained a fall, injuring my spine. After months of unsuccessful treatment and whilst waiting for a bed in hospital to undergo an operation, I was led to attend a Sunday service in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. I was impressed by the service, as well as by the sense of happiness and well-being of the congregation, and was impelled to go again and also to attend the Wednesday testimony meetings.

When the letter arrived admitting me to hospital, my decision was made. I canceled the bed by telephone and visited the nearest practitioner listed in The Christian Science Journal procured from the literature distribution rack in the church foyer.
