GOD AS PRINCIPLE
"Oh that I knew where I might find him!" cried Job (23:3). Through the ages men have echoed this cry, searching for the meaning of an apparently contradictory existence, trying to find God, the creator of the universe.
Christian Science is enabling a constantly increasing number of people to find an answer to this problem. The teachings of this Science reveal an orderly spiritual universe, governed by God, good, the divine Principle of all real existence. His laws, when obeyed, result only in good.
The Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, contains many helpful statements about the nature of God. On page 275 our Leader writes, "The starting-point of divine Science is that God, Spirit, is All-in-all, and that there is no other might nor Mind,—that God is Love, and therefore He is divine Principle."
