I am indeed grateful for Christian Science

I am indeed grateful for Christian Science. It was introduced to me about ten years ago by a dear sister, and I have been filled with joy and gratitude ever since.

One night, after I began to study this Science, I broke one of my toes. I tried in many ways to make the foot comfortable, even to trying to move the toe into place, but found that I could hardly stand even the bedclothes against my foot. Then I knew I must apply my understanding of Christian Science to the problem. I repeated the Lord's Prayer several times, and soon I felt the closeness of divine Love. All at once the pain ceased, and I went to sleep.

Later on I was awakened and wondered why, because I could feel no pain. Then I realized that the bone had moved naturally into place, and I discovered soon that it was perfectly set. I was filled with gratitude when I recognized the power of prayer to do this. Friends had stated that I would not be able to wear my narrow shoes, but I wear the same size as before. It was a complete healing.
