PROTECTION FOR OUR CHILDREN

Though majority of the world looks to matter rather than to Spirit for relief from their ills, the command of Isaiah still holds (62:6), "Ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence." Many a grateful parent whose children have been protected by a vital faith in Truth feels with the prophet (Isa. 62:1), "For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, ... I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth."

The truth must be told. Complete protection from the myriad beliefs of children's diseases is for every parent and for every home, not for a selected few. The truth dissipates the mists of ignorance and fear and brings to light abundant health. All who have consciously used God's law to establish a serene, untroubled life, who anticipate good and not evil, are under the obligation to acquaint others with this living truth, to assist them in gaining a knowledge of God's complete protection for their households, and to show them how to utilize His eternal law of harmony.

Parents should see their children as being in reality sons and daughters of God. When we accept the truth that He alone is Parent and creator, it is natural to conclude that He protects and sustains that which He creates. We should not pray fearfully that our child may be protected from contagion, but we should confidently realize that the abiding presence of Life, Truth, and Love protects him because it does not include anything harmful. This realization will bring freedom from the vague, shadowy fears that tend to haunt every earthly parent. Let children be taught that in their true being they are the children of Spirit, God, and therefore spiritual.
