I am grateful that I had the opportunity as a child to attend a Christian Science Sunday School. It was there I learned many truths which came to my aid later on. After I married, I thought I could get along without studying Christian Science. For some time I gave in to discordant situations when my spiritual understanding was not great enough to overcome them. At last, however, I became an earnest student of this religion.

A short time after I resumed my study of this Science, our oldest son, who was then three years old, became very ill with measles. When he grew delirious I called a practitioner who lived five hundred miles away. After listening to the comforting words of truth which he spoke, I was freed from the sense of fear which had filled my thought. The boy was sleeping normally within an hour, and he slept peacefully all night. The next morning he was well, lively, and happy, as a child should be.

When one of our sons was a year old he became quite ill with what I believed to be pneumonia. With the help of a loving practitioner this was overcome within two or three days.
