RADIO PROGRAM No. 87 - A Healing of Heart Trouble

On this program Mrs. Marguerite Bridges of Kansas City, Missouri, told of her own experience, as follows:

Quite a number of years ago a well-known specialist told me that I had a very bad heart and high blood pressure. He told me that I would have to be as quiet as possible and should stay in bed at least twenty out of every twenty-four hours. He arranged for an exhaustive examination, and the verdict was leakage of the heart. For one who had been active running a home and bringing up children, this seemed especially hard.

I had known of Christian Science before this and had attended church services and read parts of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. But my family had been opposed, and so I had dropped all contact with it.
