REBIRTH
Within
the quiet searching hours
We learn to know ourselves as we are known;
The heart finds deeper peace and confidence,
And fretting cares diminish as
We see them as unreal.
With clearer sight we apprehend
The greatness and the magnitude of Love.
God's precious plan for us unfolds in beauty
And in order as we behold the
Loveliness of that which really is.
We see, though it be faintly, that
The moon, the stars, the song of birds,
The sea, and the warm sands which
Frame its sparkling edge,
Give but a transient hint of
His sublime creation, where we forever
Dwell—beloved of God!
