For the healings and blessings I have received during the years that I have been a student of Christian Science I want to express my gratitude to God.

Some time ago I suffered from deafness, which lasted for several months. At church services I could hear only the organ, and it sounded as if it were far away. I walked about as if in a daze—understanding nobody, feeling a pressure in my head, and hearing strange noises in my ears. I denied that impersonal error could prevent me from hearing the truth, and I affirmed the all-embracing love of God, who sends out thoughts of love and truth impartially to all. After earnestly studying Mrs. Eddy's works to spiritualize my consciousness, taking no thought of my problem, I suddenly realized that I was free. I am still free, and I cannot express adequately in words my deep gratitude for this healing.

God's loving guidance has been evident to me in the last sixteen years, during which I have moved several times from one town to another. I have had healings of heart trouble, whooping cough, and a rash on the body. The last-mentioned difficulty disappeared without my being confined to bed for a single day. When a severe attack of influenza came upon me, I worked as we are taught in Christian Science, and in half an hour the fever left me. I slept fairly well, and the next morning all the symptoms were gone except a cold in the nose, which disappeared that evening.
