Geith A. Plimmer, C. S., of London, England, has been appointed by The Christian Science Board of Directors to serve as Committee on Publication for the counties in which London, England, is situated, and as District Manager of Committees on Publication in Great Britain and Ireland, beginning June 7, 1954, in accordance with the provisions of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, Article XXXIII, Section 3.

Mr. Plimmer will succeed Colin Rücker Eddison, C.S.B., who has ably filled these offices for the past nine and a half years. In compliance with Mr. Eddison's request that he be not reappointed at the expiration of his present year of service on June 7, because it is his desire to give more time to his work as a teacher and practitioner of Christian Science, his resignation has been accepted with sincere regret. The faithful and efficient service which he has given to the Christian Scientists in Great Britain and Ireland and to The Mother Church is deeply appreciated.

Mr. Plimmer is a graduate of the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He became interested in Christian Science in 1927 and joined The Mother Church in 1930. Two years later he became a member of Eleventh Church, London. In 1934 he withdrew from educational activities to devote his entire time to the practice of Christian Science. He has served his branch church in various capacities, including that of First Reader.
