KEITH'S HEALING

[Of Special Interest to Children]

This is a true story about a boy who did not like learning to read. His name is Keith. On this particular day he was very happy because the time had come to fly several thousand miles to rejoin his mother in a warm, sunny country which held pleasant memories for him.

Keith's friends were awed at his good fortune, for many of them had never even been outside the little country town where their school was. But long journeys were fairly commonplace to Keith, and one reason he was happy was that there would be no more school for a week or so for him.

Keith traveled with his father, and on arrival at their destination, whilst his father was busy with the luggage, Keith rushed to the barrier to greet his mother. But almost immediately his face clouded a little, and he thrust out a hand to show her a large ugly wart that had appeared in recent weeks. His father had said that once they were settled the wart could be cut or burned out. This disturbed the child, so his mother promised to discuss the matter with him from a Christian Science point of view. She knew that one cannot solve problems by resorting to material methods for removal.
