I am most grateful for many healings in Christian Science. Among them are those of frequent colds, the need to wear glasses, attacks of influenza, and scalds. Also I have received protection from accidents on the road.

I was instantaneously healed of chilblains, from which I had suffered since childhood. As I knew nothing of Christian Science at that time many material remedies were applied, but they were unavailing. Shortly after taking up the study of Christian Science, while conversing with a practitioner, I spoke to him about the chilblains and received the reply that they were no part of my true being.

More than a year later I met someone who had known me when I suffered from the condition. This person greeted me and then asked, "And how are your chilblains?" I then remembered that I had not had any since my conversation with the practitioner, who had seen the nothingness of the difficulty so clearly that it had been completely blotted out of my thought.
