[Original testimony in German]
With this testimony I wish to express...
With this testimony I wish to express my deep gratitude for the successful solution through Christian Science of the problem of lack.
A few years ago, during World War II, the question of supply in our family became so acute that absolute poverty seemed inevitable. At that time I had been studying the teachings of Christian Science for only a short while, and yet it had become immediately apparent to me how extremely helpful this teaching could be, especially in times of very great distress. The assuring words in the Preface to Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," helped me to decide to rely wholly on Christian Science.
