I am deeply grateful for the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. Over a year ago it occurred to me that my abdomen was not normal, and I began to work in Christian Science to know that the man of God's creating is spiritual, sound, and intact, and that I am that man. I knew that not an atom or an element could be added to God's creation, and that God is the only cause and creator; I knew that the only growth I could experience was spiritual growth.

Evidently this preparatory work was well done, for within a few weeks the erroneous condition began to be eliminated from my system. Although I was violently ill for two days, I realized that through Christian Science I was experiencing the removal of an internal growth. Much good Christian Science work was done during this time, and my husband and I are very grateful for the faithful practitioner who responded to our calls day and night, assuring us with courage that we were fighting a good fight and that we were winning.

On Sunday of that same week I went downstairs to dinner, and the following Sunday I went to church. I attended my annual association meeting about a week later, and the address we heard gave me such spiritual. food that I returned home next day greatly uplifted, knowing that I had been indeed born again. That afternoon I practiced golf on a driving range, and the following day I took up my regular activities in my home and church.
