It is with deep gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, that I submit this testimony of proofs of God's love with which I have been blessed during the past twenty years.

When I was seven, my mother had been confined to her bed for over six months and given up to die with tuberculosis by medical specialists. An aunt offered her a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and although she had no faith in it, to please the aunt my mother read the first two chapters and was instantaneously healed. She arose, dressed, and went on a day's fishing trip with my father.

At that time there was no Christian Science church in our town, and we knew of no one interested in this Science, but in the public school that I attended I became acquainted with a little girl whose parents were also studying Science. Then we opened our home to Christian Science services, which were held every Wednesday and Sunday until the attendance grew to such proportions that our large house was no longer adequate. To-day we have a lovely Christian Science Society with our own church building.
