Love's tender support received in childbirth

Neither sickness, sorrow, nor care led me to Christian Science. My Father-Mother God was my guide, and all that is mine today I owe to ever-present Love. Thanks to divine Love I have a harmonious home, a clear wife, and two children, both of whom are attending Sunday School. Gratefully do I recall the wonderful help which was given to my wife at both births. When her heart seemed to grow weak, or when, according to human opinion, the loss of blood was too great. His never-failing arms were around us. With the help of a practitioner, my wife was also healed in a short time of sciatica.

I myself have been freed from the slavery of belief in hereditary disease, and today I rejoice, knowing that I am a healthy, happy child of divine Love. Truth healed me instantaneously of hallucinations, the result of a nervous shock. Asthma, from which I suffered for several years, has also left me, thanks to the application of Christian Science. It is with deep gratitude that I think of all the practitioners who have always patiently and lovingly helped us.

Some years aw my greatest desire was to be able to bring relief through music to the sick and suffering in hospitals. Now I have found the pearl of great price, Christian Science, which not only will bring relief, but will heal completely and surely. Today I have but one desire, namely, to bring to all of my fellow men who are dwelling in the darkness of belief the all-illuminating light of Truth.
