The real battleground is in the minds and hearts of men. The new birth of freedom for which we pray must be in our hearts. The campaign we wage will be to win the minds of men. If men have faith in freedom, they will retain it, or, if it is lost to them, they will regain it. ... This is a spiritual conflict and our weapons must be spiritual.

We have such a weapon. It is the Word of God. The original declaration of independence is the Bible. It is man's first magna carta, his supreme bill of rights. It is a revolytionary document. ... Wherever the Bible has been read, men have been free. Wherever the Bible has been bound, men have been in chains....
