Christian Science has been my only physician for forty-two years. I have had many beautiful healings, including one of pneumonia and an instantaneous healing of a severe case of hemorrhoids.

A more recent healing was of what my friends believed to be a heart attack. I seemed to be passing on, and some kind non-Christian Science neighbors did everything humanly possible for my comfort. As I regained consciousness from time to time, I could hear their comments. At the same time there came, as though written in big letters before me, the words, "God is Life," and at another time, "You live to express God;" so when a neighbor said, "My dear, we are all praying for you," I regained the power of speech and was able to ask them to declare that God is Life and that I lived to express Him. With that I knew should get well, and I fell into a quiet sleep.

A wire had been sent to a Christian Science practitioner, who was on the way. She stayed with me for several days, until the mesmerism was broken; and in spite of my advanced years I am now in better health than many people of my age.
