ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MOTHER CHURCH
The Annual Meeting of The Mother Church convened on Monday, June 7. As usual, the great Church was filled with happy Christian Scientists from this and other lands. The reports of the Church officers were listened to with earnestness and obvious enthusiasm. A summary of the proceeding of the meeting follows.
The opening hymn was No. 300, "Saw ye my Saviour?" The words of this hymn were written by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. The retiring President, Mrs. Helen Chaffee Elwell, then read the following passages from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy:
The Bible
Deut. 6:4, 5, 20, 21
John 8:1, 2, 12, 26, 30-32
