The Christian's Service
The Aldershot News Hampshire, England
The Vicar of Tongham, the Rev. C. L. Bell, in his Parish Magazine records the following public statement made by the Archbishop of Canterbury on the nation's economic crisis:
"The (Christian brings to the service of the nation at this time three things of great value. First, he is of a quiet mind, because his final trust is in God. Much of our trouble springs from restlessness of mind, which distracts and confuses men's efforts. The Christian finds in prayer and worship, in the peace of God, the strength of quietness and confidence.
