It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I submit this testimony of the healing, protecting, and redemptive power of Christian Science.

Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of this Science, has written in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 313), "Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe." I have learned that Christian Science is the law of God as taught and demonstrated by Christ Jesus, and over a period of years I have seen this law put into operation in human affairs with healing effects. In our home we have had many physical healings, and household problems have been solved.

When complications set in after my daughter had given birth to a baby, and the doctors gave us very little hope for her recovery, all the spurious laws laid down for her were destroyed through Christian Science treatment; she was completely healed, and there were no aftereffects. When she took her second child, a baby of three months, to a pediatrician for the purpose of getting a formula for him, the doctor told her that the baby's stomach and intestines were enlarged and too low, and that he should be taken to the hospital. She refused to accept this verdict and had work taken up in Christian Science. A week later the baby was given a thorough examination and pronounced normal.
