UTILIZING TRUTH'S WEAPONS

People in many countries are rapidly beginning to recognize the fact that they are citizens of the world. Many individuals are widening the borders of their thought to include all the world, because they realize that conditions in any one country affect conditions in all other countries.

The arguments of evil—of ignorance, bondage, domination, greed, pride of power, hate, strife, want, and woe—confront mankind everywhere in some degree, and the accumulated surge of these evils has resulted in wars embracing the whole world. The wars have not vanquished the evil. It continues to loom up in various aspects to harass men and nations.

In the Preface to the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy sounds a clarion call to mankind when she states (p. vii), "The time for thinkers has come." The study of Science and Health has brought a more universal awakening in human consciousness to the fact that men must think their way out of these errors by realizing the ever-present harmony and peace of the kingdom of God. There is a right solution to every problem, great or small, complicated or simple, and divine Truth is unfolding it if we but heed its voice.
