During a period of about twenty years preceding my healing through Christian Science, I had suffered from very frequent and painful attacks of head cold, headache, and earache. For twelve years I had also suffered from attacks of sinus trouble.

In the year 1933, I casually picked up a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and began reading it from the beginning. Nothing stirred me for a few hours, but when I had read about halfway through the chapter entitled "Science of Being" a feeling of inspiration came over me. It seemed to be an instantaneous revelation of the truth and the unreality of my ills. At that same instant I saw clearly that all the suffering which I had endured in the past years need not have been. I also saw clearly that physical ailments exist only in false belief.

I was greatly inspired and continued to read the book almost steadily day and night, completing it in three or four days. From that time on all the ailments mentioned gradually disappeared, and for the last five or six years I have been completely free of the sinus trouble, headaches, and earaches, and free from the head colds, with the exception of about four very slight attacks, each of which caused little discomfort and was overcome in two or three days by Christian Science treatment.—Henry Fink, Rockford, Illinois.
