"The Lord our maker"

"E. L. H."
Mirror, Reporter Millbrook, Ontario, Canada

"Come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker" (Ps. 95:6),

There is no other activity so sacred and beneficial as worship. ... God's realized presence rebukes every evil within us, and helps us to reach up to our better selves. Worship is a rededication of the life to God. Our daily toil does not give us all the satisfaction we need. Living without God is a dull affair. As the run-down battery of a car must come into contact with a strong current of electricity for recharging, so our spiritual strength must be renewed through waiting upon God.
