"The scientific man and his Maker are here"
Man's origin, his abiding place, his unchanging state of harmony are inseparable from his creator, for man is the son of God, the perfect idea of divine Love. Persistent contemplation of creation in the light of Christian Science reveals it to be wholly spiritual, and man to be the infinite idea of Mind, ever nourished, protected, and sustained by divine Love. Acknowledgment of our true, spiritual identity is the sufficient and only antidote for the erroneous concept of man as mortal.
These are times in which the spiritual facts of being are coming to light, times in which the fallacious beliefs of this world are yielding to the truth that the one Mind and its perfect creation constitute the realm of reality, in which no belief of matter or evil can possibly find place. Through the divinely inspired revelation of Christian Science many are learning to trace man's real origin to its infinite source.
On page 46 of "Unity of Good" Mary Baker Eddy links man directly with his divine source in the following statement: "The scientific man and his Maker are here; and you would be none other than this man, if you would subordinate the fleshly perceptions to the spiritual sense and source of being." And on page 548 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" she writes: "Christian Science separates error from truth, and breathes through the sacred pages the spiritual sense of life, substance, and intelligence. In this Science, we discover man in the image and likeness of God. We see that man has never lost his spiritual estate and his eternal harmony."
