With gratitude I wish to give this testimony of healing in the hope that my experience may help to strengthen another's faith in the power of divine Love.

Two years ago at my place of work I was doing some sewing which necessitated the use of a few pins, and I was holding one between my teeth when a small boy came tugging at my neck, causing me to swallow the pin. I did not become fearful, but was filled with a sense of calmness and quietness, and declared the truth.

On returning home I decided to telephone a Christian Science practitioner, to help me maintain my freedom from fear. The words of truth that helped me so much were from Science and Health (p. 456), "Truth does the work, and you must both understand and abide by the divine Principle of your demonstration:" and in the Preface (p xi). "The physical healing of Christian Science results now, as in Jesus' time, from the operation of divine Principle, before which sin and disease lose their reality in human consciousness and disappear as naturally and as necessarily as darkness gives place to light and sin to reformation."
