Concerning Christian Science Wartime and Postwar Activities

[From a Christian Scientist in England]

It is with much gratitude that I write this letter to you, acknowledging three parcels sent from —Church of Christ. Scientist, —Ohio. God does truly work wonders. For four years after one of London's bad raids, I was incapable of remembering who I was or what I had done in previous years. I had no relatives who knew of my whereabouts and after various treatments I came to the town I am now living in. ... Several weeks ago I met someone who came from S—and said she knew me when I lived there, but still I appeared to remember nothing.

The wonderful part is that this person worked in the local Post Office at S—, and when your parcels came she took a chance and sent them on to this address, which had been given her at the time she said she knew me.
