Awakening
O Lord,
through Thy great love we are enabled
To overcome the evils of the fabled
Adam-dream
And be at peace.
The bad dream vanishes and we awaken
With joy and trust in Thy dear love unshaken;
We stand assured
And fears cease.
So now, dear Lord, we comprehend with clearness
The healing power of Thy ever-nearness
Filling all
With Love's increase.
