With sincere gratitude to God for an understanding of Christian Science. I should like to testify to the reliability of this teaching. Throughout my life when problems of any name or nature have presented themselves, their solutions have been provided through Science.

Since both my parents were sincere Christian Scientists, material remedies never entered our home. Once when I was a child. I fell over a can full of rocks that the little boy next door had left at the top of a flight of steps, and landed at the bottom with my arm badly twisted under me. After I had spent the night in constant pain in spite of my parents' declarations of truth, a doctor was called in to see if the arm were broken. He said that it was a sprain far worse than a break and would leave me with a stiff arm for the rest of my life. After he had gone I expressed thoughts of hate and anger against the boy for leaving the can where it could cause the fall. My mother then lovingly explained that matter can know nothing of a fall and cannot suffer, and that it was only the erroneous thoughts that were keeping the arm sore. As I realized this and opened my consciousness to Love the error fled and the arm was free.

My husband and I met in the Christian Science Sunday School. Our marriage has surely been blessed by the ability we gained there to work out our problems through the understanding that only harmony reigns, because God is All-in-all.
