I am glad to add my name to...
I am glad to add my name to the thousands whose homes have been blessed through the study and application of Christian Science. We count our understanding of this truth our greatest possession. Words are inadequate to express our debt of gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her gift to mankind of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and her other writings. Christian Science has been our only guide and protection for over twenty-five years, meeting our every need when we have turned wholeheartedly to God, lifting our thought above material appearances to spiritual facts.
I want to relate a healing that I experienced many years ago, with the hope that it may help someone to triumph over a similar difficulty.
Nearly thirty years ago it was necessary for me to undergo a physical examination in order to stay in a position as auditor for a large utility corporation. The examining physician and his assistant kept me for about three hours, and as a result of their findings declared that it would be impossible for them to permit me to continue to work for this corporation. They stated that I was tubercular, one lung being in a serious condition the other very badly affected. Their advice was that I get into a drier climate at once, and under no circumstances work in an office, or they could not accept responsibility for the consequences. They felt so sure of their findings that they got in touch with my father, believing that he might help me make the recommended change. I have never felt these gentlemen, being sincere in their advice, did anything but the best they knew.
