About ten years ago I was only an erratic churchgoer, although I had once been a keen worker in an orthodox church.

One Sunday morning as I sat in the garden sewing, with my husband and family working and playing around me, a great longing came to me. I wished I could have been one of those who had sat on the mountainside listening to the Way-shower, Christ Jesus. I wanted a different church, a teaching that would answer all our questions, something absolutely true and provable.

In a very short time Christian Science came into our lives, and I knew it was the answer to my earnest longings and unspoken prayer. We started going to church, and turned to practitioners for help, and healing and blessing descended on us all. We have had many wonderful proofs that the truth heals, sustains, and frees whenever properly applied. The use of medicines just fell away.
