Having had numerous physical healings and proofs of God's everpresence and care, and feeling a great sense of love for the periodicals, I submit this testimony, hoping it may prove a blessing to many.

Some years ago, the problem of lack and unemployment became very acute, and we suddenly found it necessary to prove that "God is ... a very present help in trouble." I had received healings of severe kidney and stomach ailments, and encouragement from a practitioner when I was passing through deep waters, but never had there been a complete healing from the fear of limitation. The following experience will show conclusively the protection and love of our Father-Mother God when we draw near to Him.

One morning, discouragement had taken possession of my husband. He was not a student of Christian Science, but our eight-year-old son and I steadfastly reached out to our heavenly Father. I opened the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy, to page vii of the Preface, and read these glorious lines: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." After pondering this statement I decided to prepare for the blessings that would surely follow as a result of a right understanding of it.
