I want to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me and mine. I began the study of it about twenty years ago. At that time I was very ill with a nervous breakdown, and after my physician told me that he had done all he could for me I turned to Christian Science. A practitioner was called and took up work immediately. My healing was slow. There were many wrong conditions of thought to be corrected, but through continued study and absolute reliance on Truth, I was completely healed. Since then I have had many healings, mental, moral, and physical.

At one time I became very ill with a painful condition of my back and limbs. I was unable to walk or move and was confined to my bed for about five weeks. Work was taken up by a practitioner. The Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy were my constant companions during this time. I began to realize that my illness was due to wrong thinking. As I improved my thinking and began to see man as the image of God and perfect in every way, my healing took place. Much resentment and hatred had to be eliminated from my consciousness before health was restored.

When my daughter was ten years of age she was healed of diphtheria through the aid of a practitioner. Many times throughout this experience a great deal of fear had to be eliminated from my own consciousness, and it was not until this fear was overcome that the child was healed. At another time she was sent home from school with whooping cough. She was healed and back in school in ten days.
