A Soldier's Prayer
At
break of day, when morning sun draws nigh,
I close my eyes in prayer, and pray that I
May know the truth, that it may make me free
And bring me nearer still, my Lord, to Thee;
May know the truth in all its forms divine.
So that with love my life will always shine;
May know that I will now and ever be
A true disciple, faithful unto Thee.
