What a wonderful blessing is Christian Science to those who are in the wilderness of hate and fear! When in my journey from sense to Soul I became conscious of the fact that I hated no one, my happiness was very great. Later the discovery was made that I was still believing that others could hate me, and I knew that that thought must be destroyed.

Then a thorough review was taken of my life, and many thoughts were corrected in connection with any unhappy experience of the past. It seemed as if my work were finished, but I was still believing someone else was hated and hating. Then I saw that if there was hate anywhere, God was not All, and Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 454), "Human hate has no legitimate mandate and no kingdom." And lastly, hate, not being part of divine Love, could not touch Love's idea under any pretense of law. Hence its powerlessness to cause any disease. My healing of a so–called incurable disease began at the time of this realization.

In the years that I have studied and applied Christian Science we have had healings of influenza, abscesses, burns, ivy poisoning, bronchitis, sprains, inflammatory rheumatism, so–called children's diseases, and many other ills.
