Victory

WINIFRED ELLA BAKER

Truth is the only victor—
This is our triumph song.
Error can never conquer,
For Truth alone is strong.

What though the hosts of evil
With seething might assail?
God is our strength and refuge;
With Him we shall prevail.

Here in His holy presence
Shall we our strength renew,
Having this glorious knowledge,
That God alone is true.

Thus do we stand undaunted,
Calm in the midst of strife;
So shall we rise from darkness
Into the light of Life.
