It has been over thirty-five years since I became interested in Christian Science. During those years I have had many proofs of God's care. Various mortal beliefs have been overcome, and I am happy to share with others some of the benefits received.

At one time I seemed to be on the verge of nervous prostration. I had the help of one practitioner after another, but I did not respond until one of them told me I must work for myself. When I earnestly applied my understanding of Truth I was soon free. A case of nervous indigestion was overcome in one treatment. At another time there was some work that needed to be done in the house to get ready for decorators. It was up to me to do this work, but I had been unable to use my right arm for some time. I asked a practitioner for treatment, and over the telephone she quoted to me Mrs. Eddy's words (Science and Health, p. 385), "Whatever it is your duty to do, you can do without harm to yourself." With this clear realization I was instantaneously healed.

All the symptoms of pneumonia disappeared instantly when I asked for help. "Love is the liberator" (ibid., p. 225). Chronic sick headaches, colds, and other ills of the flesh have been overcome by my own reading and study.
