Centuries ago Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you." He evidently had realized, through his oneness with God, permanent and eternal peace. His life of love and healing shows this to be so. He knew the right idea of God was the Saviour of mankind; hence, he is called the Exemplar. Mary Baker Eddy defines Christian Science as "the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony" (Rudimental Divine Science, p. 1). Truly the world today needs a peace based on divine Principle, which cannot be shaken, and which must be realized individually and collectively.
