Spiritual Perfection

The expert musician is able instantly to identify any musical note and to detect any discrepancy from perfect pitch. While this is indeed a treasured talent, we should all be able to manifest it and countless other wonderful faculties; and we shall do so as we understand man's true nature and capabilities, as we demonstrate spiritually mental perfect concepts in all our endeavors.

This understanding is freely available today through Christian Science. It is the understanding of God and man and their relationship, a talent common to all, a talent so abundantly demonstrated by Christ Jesus, and so earnestly desired by his followers through the centuries.

The Master had a constant sense of harmony, a perfect understanding of what constitutes reality. Whatever the situation or attendant circumstances, he always perceived the spiritual perfection which was present. His thinking, his realizing, rested directly on the perfect concept of God. Thus he was able to detect the slightest variation from the true mental tones of health, prosperity, love, peace, and to cast aside imperfect deviations as fancy, not fact; sham, not substance.
