Honor God, the Creator

THROUGH the teachings of Christian Science we learn that it is with divine ideas and mental concepts alone that we need to concern ourselves. We should know that the real man honors his creator and expresses the divine attributes and qualities, and that true consciousness is aware only of that which really exists, of that which honors God and is like God.

Christ Jesus never accepted anything which was not of God, which was not part of his Father's perfect creation. He proved that only what God, Mind, knows, is real.

The divine Mind, Christ Jesus made clear, can express only thoughts of perfection. Jesus understood health and strength to be manifestations of Mind. His consciousness was hallowed with thoughts of God's ever-presence and allpower, and he expressed the divine Love which proved the asserted power of human hate to be powerless. Through his victory over death and the grave Jesus established once and for all the fact of eternal, indestructible life. He manifested the true idea of perfection. Oneness with the eternal I AM was to him the only reality.
