WHETHER
our interests lie in scholastic, scientific, or artistic fields, or whether it is a hobby that enthralls us, we all know how thrilling it is to discover for ourselves something we were not aware of before regarding some subject in which we are vitally interested.
How
strangely stirring is the conversation which grows out of the visit of Nicodemus to Jesus on the slope of Olivet in the silent hours of night! Nicodemus has heard of the sayings and doings of the renowned Teacher in and about Jerusalem.
The
word "discipline," derived from the Latin word disciplina, meaning learning, should be regarded rather as the friend than the enemy of mankind.
A STATEMENT
of spiritual truth may in itself be helpful in overcoming difficulties, as Christian Scientists continually prove.
Meetings at which testimonies of Christian Science healing are given, are held in Christian Science churches on Wednesdays.
It is with great joy and gratitude for all that Christian Science has brought us that we wish to give this testimony.
Before taking up the study of Christian Science, I knew nothing about God.
Jesus said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
I am grateful for all the healings that Christian Science has brought to me and mine during the last five years; for the true sense of health, strength, and protection it constantly gives; and for the glimpses of the real meaning of peace and joy and love.
I am very grateful to God that the great blessing of Christian Science came to me.

Because of my gratitude for the many blessings that Christian Science has brought to me, I desire to share with others the following experience, which not only proved to me the ability of Christian Science to heal, but also showed me the importance of watching my thinking.
While I have had many proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science over a period of years, I feel inspired at this time to write of my first healing through this Science.
