I am grateful for all the healings that Christian Science has brought to me and mine during the last five years; for the true sense of health, strength, and protection it constantly gives; and for the glimpses of the real meaning of peace and joy and love.

Before I began to study Science I was worried, nervous, and fearful. A doctor told me there was nothing wrong with me physically, but I still felt weary and ill at all times. One morning, when the day ahead of me looked more discouraging than ever, I decided to pray. The one prayer I knew was the Lord's Prayer. I tried to understand the meaning of each word. I remember dwelling on the sentence, "Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven." All day I asked for His will to be done. My prayer was answered. On the following Sunday I was invited to attend a Christian Science service; on Monday I visited the Reading Room and borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy; on Friday I visited a practitioner. I am grateful that every day since then has been filled with blessings.
