Returning Spring

After the winter, spring has come again,
Foretold by light and heralded by song.
Bright flowers begin to show, caressed by rain;
Gone is the dreariness that seemed so long.

So to our view, love, hope, and faith once more
Triumphant rise to comfort those that mourn.
Life's bounty flows to those of spirit poor,
And harmony where once all seemed forlorn.

The sun of righteousness shines forth on all,
Bringing the promised healing on its wing.
Love rends the veil. Obedient to Truth's call,
Accept the bliss of God's perennial spring!
