In a recent edition of the Gleaner, a statement was made to the effect that a certain book unfriendly to Christian Science had been "banned in America." We are reliably informed that even though the book contains many misleading statements about Mrs. Eddy and Christian Science, no official or concerted action was ever taken by the Christian Science organization to stop its circulation.

The thousands of cases of healing of supposedly incurable diseases, after such cases have been given up by the regular physicians, as well as the innumerable instances of liberation from so-called inherited evil propensities, as the result of the operation of Christian Science, prove its efficacy and its practicability to all fair-minded seekers for Truth.

The greatest thing anyone can do for ... man is to pray. When one understands about prayer, and puts prayer in its right place, one finds that it is the doing that grows out of praying that is mightiest in touching human hearts.
