How
clearly Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science and the Leader of its movement, has set forth the methods of divine metaphysical healing! She has told us in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures".
Of
the function of gratitude in the spiritual healing of disease and death, Jesus gave an impressive instance when he stood before the tomb of Lazarus and gave thanks that God had heard him, before any slightest evidence of the healing was manifest to human sense.
Perhaps
many of us who are striving to live up to the high standard of right thinking which Christian Science teaches is necessary if we are to work out our salvation from all evil, are conscious of the need for greater watchfulness, moment by moment, in order that we may not unwittingly allow error to deprive us of the reward of our earnest efforts to think rightly.

Teaching
