[Christian Science Organization at Purdue University, Indiana, by the Secretary]

The Christian Science Organization at Purdue University...

The Christian Science Organization at Purdue University was started in January, 1936, by six members of The Mother Church, who met and drew up by-laws. There were compiled with the assistance of the by-laws and letters of other college organizations. They were presented to the dean of men for his approval.

Students who stated their religious preference to be Christian Science were sought out, and meetings were started. These meetings are held every other week in the Student Union Building, and follow the order of services for the "Wednesday meeting," found on page 122 of the Manual of The Mother Church.

Our officers consist of Reader, secretary, treasurer, and president, the last three constituting the Executive Board. Business meetings of the organization are held every other month, at which time new applicants for membership are voted on. There are also regular meetings of the Executive Board.

Next fall a reception will be given to welcome into our organization all students who are interested in Christian Science.
